Description:

Just like Stuffed Bell Peppers just in a soup version. You can also make as a casserole by just using less water and melting cheese on top. Recipe fills a quart jar if for future use. ** Note for filling your jar meal. Start with the ground beef then add the tomato powder. Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. * if using fresh garlic then saute in 2 teaspoons oil first.

For Soup

  1. Combine everything, with the exception of the cheese, in one pot.
  2. Bring up to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer. Simmer for 20 minutes.
  3. Serve hot. Top with your favorite cheese, if desired.
  4. Serving size is measured as 1 cup. You can add more water if you like it "soupier"

For Casserole

  1. *** Use 2/3 the amount of water for casserole
  2. Combine everything, with the exception of cheese, in one bowl.
  3. Let sit, 15 minutes, to rehydrate.
  4. Pour into casserole dish and top with cheese.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
